An expert athlete from Bhagta Bharat gave his best and became the Delhi Cross Country Champion ( Finishing in 2nd place).
His name is Sahil Khan, 16 years of age, a highly motivated and hard-working boy, who overcame all obstacles in his path and achieved the runners up position in the 2000m race with a fantastic timing of 6:17.
Sahil is currenty living in Hyderabad at the Natinal Cadet Corps, for the Army Recruitments. He has always been passionate about the Army, as he wants to reach a position where he can give back to his family, his community and his country. His father is a rickshaw puller and mother is a housewife, having lived in a state of deprivation, malnourishment and continuous adversities, he has become a young man with extreme grit and determination. These are exact qualities that the army looks for in a soldier.
Being in the Army he can acquire a position of respect, draw a salary that can meet the requirements of his family's daily needs.
